Where I photograph weddings
Porto · Vila Nova de Gaia · Matosinhos. My base is in Gaia and this is where I photograph most weddings — estates in the Porto district, palaces in Gaia, chapels in Matosinhos. I know the light of each season at every venue in the region, and there are no extra travel fees for weddings in Greater Porto.
Douro and Northern Portugal. Wine estates, viewpoints over the river, intimate weddings in Minho villages. I work throughout the North regularly.
Destination Wedding. I shoot destination weddings across Portugal and Europe — Alentejo, Tuscany, the Basque coast, Provence. I adapt the team to the needs of the day and travel costs are presented transparently in the initial quote.
How I work on the wedding day
I blend in among your guests like one more friend — a calm, attentive, almost invisible presence. The main collection includes two photographers and two videographers: while one follows the bride through the preparations, the other is with the groom. During the ceremony, we capture every angle. At the reception, we’re on the dance floor, at the table with the grandparents, next to whoever is giving the speech.
For more intimate celebrations — elopements in the Douro, weddings for just 20 people — I adapt the team. The pre-wedding session is included in the main collections and is the perfect chance to get to know each other without the stress of the day.

How much does a wedding photographer in Porto cost?
Every quote is personalised after a conversation. Civil ceremonies and elopements have a more modest investment; collections with a team of two photographers and two videographers represent a more significant investment. I always present the figures in a clear quote, with no fine print.
Do you shoot weddings in Vila Nova de Gaia?
Yes — the studio is in Gaia and this is where I photograph most weddings. I know the estates, chapels, and venues on the south bank well, and there are no extra travel fees for weddings in the municipality.
Do you work outside Porto?
Yes. I shoot weddings throughout the North (Douro, Minho), in the Alentejo, and destination weddings in Portugal and Europe. Travel costs are presented transparently in the quote.
When do you deliver the photographs and the film?
You’ll receive a selection in the first week after the wedding, the full gallery within 6 weeks, and the final film within 6 months.
Can I see full wedding portfolios?
Yes — the full portfolio is at /trabalhos and during our conversation I’ll show specific cases similar to yours.
How does the booking process work?
The process starts with a relaxed conversation, in person at the studio in Gaia or by video call. If you feel we’re the right fit, your date is 100% reserved after the contract is signed and the deposit is paid.
What about the privacy of our images?
Your privacy is a top priority. No image from your wedding is used for marketing or social media without your explicit written authorisation.
